Opening in 2018, the Bish Discovery Center’s focus is to educate visitors about sustainable living, renewable energy and how to have a positive impact on the environment. The center is also the District’s hub for outdoor recreation, such as cycling and paddling as well as gardening and sustainable living workshops and programs. The 2.88 acre property includes a pollinator meadow, community garden and is located adjacent to the Tecumseh Bike Trail. Canoe and kayak enthusiasts can launch their craft at the Alice Bish Canoe Launch for a float down the Greenville creek.
